Welcome to the sixth grade English website.The sixth graders had an enjoyable spring break and are ready to return to the study of the English lanugage.
Now that the sixth grade has finished studing adverbs or words that describe verbs, we have now gone into the study of pronouns. Pronouns are nouns that take the place of a noun or antecendant in a sentence. There are four types of pronouns. They are listed as follows:
| Subject singular: I,you,he,she,it | Pocessive singular: my,your,his hers,its |
| Subject Plural:we,you,they | Pocessive Plural:ours,yours,theirs |
| Object Singular: me,you,him,her,it | Poscessive(used alone):mine,yours,hers,his,its,theirs |
| Object Plural: us,you,them |
